Welcome to Jodies, a charming cafe nestled within the Ice Rink on Glasgow Road in Lockerbie. This delightful spot is not just a cafe but a cozy retreat where you can unwind after a day of skating or indulge in delicious bites that warm the heart and satisfy the palate.

Upon stepping inside Jodies, you’re greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the tempting scent of homemade cakes. The atmosphere is both cozy and lively, thanks to the friendly staff who greet every customer with a smile. As one visitor, C R (Nuo), noted, “It’s a very cozy and warm coffee shop,” making it a perfect stop for anyone seeking comfort food in a laid-back environment.

The menu at Jodies offers a delightful mix of hot rolls and beverages that cater to various tastes. Start your day with a meaty treat like the juicy Beef Burger or the hearty Bacon Cheese Burger, both of which are cooked to perfection and guaranteed to hit the spot. For a lighter option, opt for the tasty Vegi Burger or the wonderfully comforting Scrambled Egg on toast.

If you have a penchant for sweet treats, Jodies does not disappoint. Customers rave about the “cakes to die for” as mentioned by Patsy Jones, who also complimented the cafe's cleanliness and welcoming vibe. Flavors abound, making it easy to pick a few desserts to enjoy with a rich Cappuccino or a luxurious Hot Chocolate.

Whether you’re heading to the ice rink or just passing through Lockerbie, Jodies is the perfect café to gather with friends or enjoy a moment to yourself. As Ian Baurley, a satisfied customer, shared, “The club sandwich is amazing and safe for coeliacs,” highlighting the cafe’s attentive service geared towards dietary needs.

With ample seating and a wheelchair-accessible layout, Jodies welcomes all guests, making it an ideal destination for families, including those with young and teenage children, as Diane Thomson attests to its kid-friendly ambiance and excellent service. The cafe is indeed a beloved local spot, popular among those looking for good food and a friendly atmosphere.

A very cozy and warm coffee shop, especially since it is located at the ice rink. This is a major selling point. The staff are very friendly and the interior decor is tasteful. There are many home made desserts and hot drinks. There are plenty of seats. I highly recommend this shop.

Love be Jodie's, my kids favourite place to eat, and they are teenage boys. Service is excellent, food is fit for a teen, which is harder than feeding a king sometimes I think. Always easy to park, and wheelchair accessible.
